I mean, Home Improvement's not exactly amazing either but compared to whats a 'hit' these days it is. i'd rather see the return of old style sitcoms like Golden Girls and Who's the Boss than a lot of this new style. everyones either a bachelor in a 'friends' style situation, or its a family comedy with no angle to it. if you include cable – definitely. networks I think though are getting worse. they’re weaning themselves slightly off of reality TV back into sitcoms, and they’ve forgotten how to do them.
