How could I resist posting twice about The O.C. in one day? Seriously, I couldn’t. According to a story on Yahoo! News yesterday, it seems that a video game based on The O.C. is currently in development. Now before you get too excited, it might be worth nothing that this is just a mobile game for cell phones… which actually makes perfect sense considering the target market they are probably aiming for. Publisher Gameloft says the gameplay will be similar to The Sims, only in this game you get to “explore the O.C. universe by dressing to impress, joining the right cliques, dating the right people and striving to fit into the ultra-trendy community”. Now if they would only add in a Ryan fist-fight mini-game, I might be more interested. Either way, it seems like this will be the perfect complement to your Clap Your Hands Say Yeah ringtone. Look for it to be released sometime in 2006.
