Stream The New Jimmy Eat World E.P.
Before they went out on tour with Green Day in support of their “Futures” album, Jimmy Eat World managed to lay down some new tracks in the studio with Mark Trombino. They combined these with a cover of Heatmiser’s “Half Right”, and Styrofoam’s remix of “Drug Or Me” and the result is “Stay On My Side Tonight”, a new E.P. that will be available this fall. The press materials claim that there are “shades of Peter Gabriel and Sonic Youth” in the new tunes… the Sonic Youth might be stretching it. Look for the E.P. to be released digitally on September 13th and to hit stores on October 4th. Stream the 5 songs over at Jimmy Eat World’s MySpace page right now.

If this is anything like their last shitty record count me out of this shitty mess. I don’t think I even need to listen to these guys at all anymore.
