Regarding Coppola&#039;s comments, there&#039;s a few ways you can take them. I mean, first of all, the guy&#039;s pretty old, you can&#039;t expect him to understand video games. Has he even played it?

Secondly, I don&#039;t think anyone expects the game to be &quot;art&quot; on the same level as his movies. I don&#039;t see how it&#039;s going to tarnish his work, it&#039;s a completely different thing. The movie was adapted from a book to begin with. Maybe some people though his movie was a &quot;misuse of book&quot; (I know a lot of people probably felt that way about Part 3).
