From Segways To Starbucks: More Indie Documentaries

Here’s a pair of gimmicky independent documentaries in the works that may or may not brighten your day. The first is called “Starbucking” and it’s about a guy named Winter who has decided to visit every single Starbucks in the world. I guess it’s kind of like Super Size Me, but without the health experiment? From the sounds of it, the documentary is more about the eccentricities of Winter himself, and his adventures on the road. The second film is another road trip movie called “10 MPH” and it is about two friends who decided to quit their corporate jobs and buy a Segway (you know, those little motorized two-wheel scooters). Josh Caldwell rode the Segway from Seattle to Boston, while his friend Hunter Weeks captured the trip on film. It’s all about “living the american dream” apparently. Check out trailers for both of these movies at their official websites, linked below.

  1. I wonder how they got a camera into a strip club? That guy Winters has a cold stare, it seems as though there is little thought in his head because of mass coffee consumption.
