The box office resumed its slump once again this past weekend, with disappointing openings for Stealth, Sky High and Must Love Dogs. Is anyone really surprised? However, another documentary has proven to be a surprise hit, with The Aristocrats pulling in $260,000 at only 4 theatres in its initial release. The movie is a film by comedy veteran Paul Provenza that shows over 100 comedians telling the world’s dirtiest joke on stage, and then analyzing what makes it both funny and disgusting. Featuring appearances by Bob Saget, Paul Reiser, Drew Carey, George Carlin and Sarah Silverman, it sounds like an intriguing concept. Click below to read more about it and see the film’s trailer.
