Details have been announced this week for the DVD release of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. November 1st will be the day for Star Wars fans to complete their collection… at least until the “ultimate special edition complete collector’s edition” Star Wars box set comes out. The DVD will include another full-length documentary on the making of the movie (on the past Star Wars DVDs these have been as good as the actual movies themselves) and featurettes on the prophecy of Anakin Skywalker as the “chosen one”, and the film’s stunts. An audio commentary track with George Lucas and other crew members will also be included, along with a 15-part behind-the-scenes web documentary and a number of fully produced deleted scenes. Also on November 1st, Star Wars Battlefront II will be released for the X-Box, PS2, PSP and PC. The Revenge Of The Sith DVD will include a 2-level demo for the game just to whet your appetite (although it fails to mention which systems the demo will be playable for). Remember, remember… the 1st of November.
