Ever wonder how 50 Cent got shot nine times and lived to tell the story? Well now you’ll get a chance to relive the drama of the rapper’s moving hard knock life story with his feature film debut “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”. Basically, this is Fitty’s version of Eminem’s “8 Mile”, and once again some highly respected names were recruited to bring this mostly true story to the big screen. Director Jim Sheridan has done such critically acclaimed movies as In America, In the Name of the Father, and My Left Foot, while writer Terence Winter has worked on numerous episodes of The Sopranos and is also doing the upcoming remake of The Warriors.
