Capcom announced this week that the next installment in their ever popular Resident Evil survival horror series is currently in development for the Playstation 3 and X-Box 360. Apparently that whole Nintendo exclusivity deal on Resident Evil 4 didn’t work out so well for them. On the other hand, Microsoft is doing a great job of getting some major Japanese developers on board for the 360… who knows, maybe a few Japanese gamers will actually buy the next X-Box system too. Very little details have been revealed about Resident Evil 5, however, a teaser trailer for the game showcases some very pretty next-gen graphics. IGN has the teaser online now, so click below to check it out. It’s highly likely the game won’t be available until at least early 2006.
