When The Pixies reformed last year, a lot of people were pretty cynical about the supposed assload of money that they made for agreeing to do a reunion tour. But you know what? They wowed audiences regardless and proved that they aren’t done rocking yet. So now the next question to be answered is, will they ever get around to recording a new album? According to Tiny Mix Tapes, the answer would seem to be yes. Frank Black hinted recently to The Sun in the U.K. that they would be doing some recording in the near future. Let’s hope that “Bam Thwok” song they released on iTunes last year is just them getting warmed up. Incidentally, Frank Black has released a new album of his own this week entitled “Honeycomb”.
