Battlefield 2 only came out a month ago, and already EA is hard at work promoting their upcoming expansion pack for the game, “Battlefield 2: Special Forces”. While it would be nice if they could patch all the technical problems that came with the original release first, I have to say that this new expansion still sounds pretty cool. It will introduce 6 new factions of soldiers including Navy SEALs, the British SAS and Russian Spetznas, along with 10 new vehicles, 12 new weapons and 8 new maps. But what has me stoked are the new gadgets: grappling hooks, ziplines, night vision, flash grenades and tear gas. I am already envisioning what kind of fun those will add to the game. Battlefield 2: Special Forces is scheduled for release in time for the holidays, so keep your eyes and ears open for more info.
