After a doomed attempt to make a movie based on The Man Who Killed Don Quixote (see Lost In La Mancha for a good documentary on how a major motion pictures get canned after weeks into production), Terry Gilliam finally returns to the big screen with “The Brothers Grimm”, a fictional re-imagining of the lives of the famous 19th century German storytellers. The brothers are played by none other than heartthrobs Matt Damon and Heath Ledger. The movie also stars Monica Bellucci and Jonathan Pryce, among others. AOL Moviefone has the first trailer for The Brothers Grimm, which will hit theatres on August 26th. Gilliam has been keeping busy though, as his next movie, Tideland, is already in post-production.
