Steve Carell’s career is definitely heating up. After nearly stealing the show in Anchorman, and then landing the lead role in NBC’s The Office, now we come to a movie that could potentially make him a full-blown comedy superstar. The 40-Year-Old Virgin is a comedy written and directed by Judd Apatow of Freaks & Geeks fame, with Carell himself actually co-writing the script and executive producing too. On the surface it looks like a run-of-the-mill comedy following in the footsteps of Hitch, but with the people involved you have to assume it will be much more than that. Also co-starring Paul Rudd (Anchorman), Catherine Keener (Being John Malkovich), and Seth Rogen (Freaks & Geeks). Yahoo! has the trailer up right now so head over and see what you think.
