New Foo Fighters Single and Video Now Online

When Dave Grohl says that he wants “In Your Honor” to be the Foo Fighters’ definitive masterwork, I really want to believe him. I still have a soft spot for this band despite the fact that their albums have gotten more and more radio friendly over the years. The new record is going to be a double album that features one disc of full-on rock action and one disc of mellower acoustic-oriented tunes. There is an E-card up on the official Foo Fighters site that is streaming the new single “Best Of You”, along with the video. It certainly doesn’t sound like anything revolutionary for the band, but then again, it is the single. We’ll just have to wait for June 14th, when “In Your Honor” hits stores, to find out if Dave Grohl’s got any balls left.

  1. I dont get how Grohl is involved with so many other peoples’ cool projects, but doesnt really seem to let any of those experiences push him into more experimental or varied directions. its a shame, really.

  2. at least this single isnt really prissy. but thats no indication the album wont be, look at the “one by one” single from the last one…

the only thing giving me faith with the new album is that he seperated the light stuff from the heavy stuff…

  3. Grohl rocks i love the new song he should have less serious song from now onwards like learn to fly. There amazing now tenacious D and blink 182 need to come back where are you guys, and nivarna (i wish)? and his voice in this song is really gravely for some reason it sounds better…
