Tarantino and Rodriguez To Collaborate on Horror Flick

As if they both weren’t busy enough already, Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez have announced plans to collaborate on a new horror movie called “Grind House”. The idea sounds a little similar to From Dusk Till Dawn, a movie that was written by Tarantino but directed by Rodriguez, and felt like 2 different movies put together. Grind House would actually feature 2 separate 60 minute films, each written and directed by the other, but will be released together as a tribute to “old, big-city movie houses like those on New York’s 42nd Street that earned the moniker grindhouses for programing genre pictures back to back”. The movies will be released through Bob and Harvey Weinstein’s new company in spring of 2006. I’m wondering if this may be where the Tarantino/Friday The 13th rumours got started from too. No word on whether this will have an effect on the shooting schedules for Sin City 2 or Tarantino’s “Inglorious Bastards”.
