I bought the 30th anninversary DVD and I was thoroughly disappointed with it. I was expecting it to pack the punch that the collector’s edition 5 years earlier lacked. But it didn’t. There were no trailers, only 1 additional deleted scene, only 1 additional, small (and I mean small) outtake and an on-set interview with Steven Spielberg. The interview that was on the collector’s edition has been extended to 2 hours, as well. Big Deal. There were trailers that were left out of the collector’s edition that should’ve been included here, and there had to be more outtakes. Where were they? There are films of lesser importance that have been released on DVD with tons of extras, so what’s wrong with “Jaws”? Universal is ripping us off. What are they waiting for, the 50th anniversary?
