For people in Canada who have not had a chance to see the second season of the Star Wars Clone Wars animated microseries, it will air on Teletoon this week on a Star Wars “May The 4th Be With You” special. The installments previously aired on the Cartoon Network in the U.S. last month, but Teletoon will be airing them as a 90 minute feature length film on Wednesday, May 4, starting at 10:00 pm. The second season features longer individual episodes and slightly more in-depth storytelling. It is definitely a must-see for Star Wars fans since the story essentially leads right up to the opening minutes of Episode III. The Clone Wars first season will also re-air on Teletoon on May 7th and 8th. Incidentally, it has been confirmed from various sources that Lucasfilm is definitely preparing two new Star Wars TV series for production. One will be a live action series, while the other will be an animated series similar to the Clone Wars.
