Howl’s Moving Castle North American Release Set
A release date and a voice cast have been announced for the North American release of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest animated feature, “Howl’s Moving Castle”. The English dub voice cast includes, of all people, Christian Bale in the title role, and also Jean Simmons, Emily Mortime, Billy Crystal, Lauren Bacall and Blythe Danner. The movie will open in L.A., New York and San Francisco on June 10th before expanding to a wider release the next week. In related news, there are rumours that Miyazaki’s 1984 film “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds” will receive a small North American release this summer, probably in the hopes of further cross-promoting with Howl’s Moving Castle.
