Titanic Titanic Collector’s Edition DVD In The Works
Go big or go home, that’s what James Cameron says. In a massive press conference earlier this week, he announced plans to release an updated Titanic DVD in both a 2-disc special edition and a huge 4-disc collector’s edition. The film will be split over two discs in order to maximize quality, and 58 minutes of deleted scenes will be remastered and inserted into the movie through a branching feature. There will also be at least one audio commentary track from Cameron himself, and a brand new Dolby Digital 6.1 sound mix. Among the plethora of extras (available only with the 4-disc set) will be a feature length documentary on the making of Titanic directed by Ed Marsh. An exact release date will be forthcoming, although it was stated that it would be sometime in October. Will this rekindle interest in the top worldwide grossing movie of all time? We’ll see what happens, but I get the impression that a lot of people have cooled off on this flick in the past 8 years.

oh whatever titanic is the best movie ive ever seen. maybe it has a few glitches but do you think you could make it any better. titanic never gets old.
Posted by Ariel on October 16th, 2005I think it would have been better if the Titanic was a giant airship and they hit a stray spaceship instead of an iceberg, with the spaceship carrying hostile aliens intent on enslaving the human race. Either that, or something involving midgets.
