Chixdiggit Return With A New Album
After what was essentially a 4 year hiatus, those happy go-lucky rockers from Calgary, Chixdiggit, will return with a new album next month. What prompted this return to action one can only speculate, but they obviously felt it was time to throw together another 15 minutes worth of music and hit the road! Entitled “Pink Razors”, the new record will be out on Fat Wreck Chords on April 19th… and, umm… the cover is pink. Some tour dates have been posted on their website in both Canada and Europe, and among them is a show on April 28th in Toronto with SNFU. There are no sample MP3s up at the Fat Wreck website yet, but then again with albums as short as theirs, I guess you don’t really want to give away anything for free.

This new cd is awesome. You will notice that the cd reads 50 mins in your player. One may assume it’s a hidden track…but you are so very wrong. It contains a surprise at the end and you’re going to love it. It has to be the first time a band has ever done something like that.
