Trailer For Dreamworks Animated Feature “Madagascar” Online

Dreamworks has their next computer animated feature in the works, and once again it seems more focused on the big name celebrities who will be doing voices rather than the story or characters. Madagascar is about four zoo animals from NYC’s Central Park Zoo (a lion, a zebra, a giraffe, and hippo) who escape from their cages and catch a ride on a boat to Madagascar. Along the way though, the boat capsizes and they get stranded out in the wild. The movie stars Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett-Smith, along with Andy Richter and Cedric The Entertainer. I’m not sure I dig the simple visual style much. It is being directed by Tom McGrath and Eric Darnell (Antz), and it hits theatres on May 27th, 2005. Check out the trailer at the official site below.
