Bis To Reform Under New Name
If you were sad to see the Scottish electro-pop trio Bis part ways in 2003, well you can dry your tears because they have announced that they are getting back together real soon. They plan to release a new 7″ at the end of this month under the completely new name “Data Panik”. One would think that a change of band name would indicate a change in sound as well, let’s hope it’s not the dull direction the last few bis albums were taking. They have described Data Panik as “a harder, stronger Bis with a drummer” so we’ll see how it sounds. Unfortunately there is no website or MP3s for the new band as of yet, but you can always keep yourself entertained by checking out Amanda’s side project “The Kitchen” over at the Damaged Goods website.

Very much so in my Top 10….the way modern pop music should sound. Too bad about the split though
