Mario Kart Arcade Game In The Works

I don’t normally keep up with arcade game news but this one sounds like a lot of fun. Nintendo and Namco have teamed up to create Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix, a 4-player linked racing game featuring 24 different tracks and some unusual playable characters including Pac-Man! It will also have something built into the hardware called the “Nam Cam”, basically a way of capturing and importing people’s faces into the game. Rewritable memory cards will be available to save game data, as is common with other new arcade games in Japan right now. Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix is planned for a fall release in Japan, and a North American version has not been announced as of yet but we can keep our fingers crossed.
