It looks like he just might Wiez in this town again after all. I shit you not, apparently that sad, pathetic business card of a movie, “Pauly Shore Is Dead”, convinced someone out there that the man could be ripe for a comeback. Later this year TBS will launch the new reality series “Minding The Store”, which sees Pauly taking over the management of his mother’s world famous Sunset Strip comedy venue “The Comedy Store” with the goal of renovating and revitalizing it. According to Steve Koonin, executive vice president and chief operating officer of TBS and TNT, Minding The Store “will blend the comedy on-stage at The Comedy Store with the quirky personalities and offbeat backstage antics of Pauly Shore and his mother, Comedy Store owner Mitzi Shore.” Apparently we will also get to experience the joy of seeing Pauly take acting lessons and trying to date someone more “appropriate”. Sounds hi-larious.
