This film is probably appropriate for our time--all of these wars going on in god's name and what not. I'm just kind of sick about hearing, and teaching for that matter, how history repeats itself. I must admit that I'm also sick of Sir Ridley Scott. Granted he did direct two of my all time favorites, Blade Runner and Alien, but what has he done since 1982 (?)? White Squall, GI Jane, 1492, Matchstick Men and even Gladiator are all rather silly films in my honest opinion. ahh Sir Ridley Scott.
