Alone In The Dark Final Trailer Released Online
Oh man… I wish I could say there was hope for Christian Slater’s career but this movie is just going to put the nail in the coffin. Director Uwe Boll has taken it upon himself to line up as many video game to film adaptations as possible, and then proceed to flush them down the toilet one by one. At least Alone In The Dark doesn’t appear to have clips from the actual video game edited into it like House Of The Dead did. But it still looks pretty damn bad. Next we have Bloodrayne, Hunter: The Reckoning, and Far Cry adapations to look forward to from Boll. I’m sure there are some video games that could actually be turned into decent movies but if no one steps in to stop this guy, he’s going to run the concept into the ground before anyone else has a chance to prove it. Alone In The Dark hits theatres on January 28th but I sincerely hope no one will waste their time or money on this thing.

I think a movie based on the Max Payne series would be alright….has a lot more substance in its story line.
