Real Life Rock School Documentary Coming In March

I’m not sure where the Richard Linklater/Jack Black comedy School of Rock drew its inspiration from, but there is a documentary coming out early next year that tells the story of a real-life school of rock. The school is called the Paul Green School of Rock Music, and the movie is called simply “Rock School”. The school is based in Philadelphia, and after their normal school hours, kids aged 9 to 17 study under the former rocker and founder of the school, training to become future rock stars. The movie sounds like School of Rock meets Spellbound and it might be better than the fictional one. Read more at the film’s official website, where it also states that a trailer is coming soon.
