I know musicals can get kind of weird but this one sounds like it’s pretty out there. British writer Ben Elton has created a musical based on the music of Queen called “We Will Rock You”. Taking place in the not-so-distant future, Earth has turned into a place where “kids watch the same movies, wear the same fashions and think the same thoughts”. But there is an underground resistance known as the Bohemians, who await the coming of a great and hairy guitar god to claim his mighty axe from the stone it has been buried in. “Is the one who calls himself Galileo that man? He’s just a poor boy. From a poor family…” Well this guy sure has some imagination, I’ll give him that. We Will Rock You is currently playing in London England and will be coming to Las Vegas soon. So I guess that means it’s for real?
