Tim Burton’s New Animated Film: The Corpse Bride
Tim Burton fans will be happy to hear that a new animated film in the style of The Nightmare Before Christmas is in the works. “The Corpse Bride” is a stop motion picture being developed in England by Vinton Studios. It is based on a 19th Century Russion folktale where a man accidentally marries a corpse. The voice cast includes many Burton associates including Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp in the lead roles as well as Albert Finney, Christopher Lee, and Emily Watson. Some stills from the movie have started to pop up online, and hopefully we can expect a trailer in the near future. The Corpse Bride is currently planned for a September 23, 2005 release.
