Suprnova is no more

Man I’m so pissed off right now.

I know a lot of you people often frequent this site for your downloading needs. This site had everything you could have ever wanted to download. It was super file sharing to the max

My guess is the recent lawsuits and stuff going on involving bittorrent, because I don’t believe any of that crap stated on the site.

  1. LokiTorrent’s still seems to be up at the moment although it will probably be shut down too. Most likely this has all been a result of the MPAA cracking down on movie piracy. Just like Napster, something gets too well known and it becomes a target. It was fun while it lasted.

    I’m a little annoyed because I mostly just used these sites to download TV episodes, which I don’t think is a big crime. Although with more and more TV shows coming out on DVD, I suppose this will be cutting into studio profits real soon too.

  3. There’s also http://myspleen.net/ for TV episodes but it’s mostly cartoons and MST3K.

    That sucks huge about suprnova. Just glad I got in when I did and grabbed the essential shows I wanted.

  4. I missed a few shows over the last little while because I was busy and forgot to tape them. I like knowing that I can download a show if I miss it. It’s the same as taping the show off the television and watching it later. But now with so many tv shows being released on DVD they won’t want people downloading tv shows either.

  7. Has anyone found a torrent for Lost, episode 08? I downloaded every episode so far so my siblings could catch up but I haven’t been able ot find episode 08.
